Despite the fact that you should not be self-deprecating and should instead have a positive attitude about yourself, you should not give the impression that you are a gift from God to them and that you have just dropped from the sky. They don’t want you to believe that they have just arrived from heaven and are some type of flawless person by any stretch of the imagination. As a result, they are unable to meet that expectation.

They are looking for a communicator. The so-called “strong silent type” is everything from appealing in any way. They believe that you just don’t care about what they said or that you didn’t even hear what they said. They also believe that you probably don’t have an original thought in your brain and that you probably haven’t heard a word that they said.
